Can I cold call leads?

With Spoki Voice you can run outbound campaigns only on contacts that have given explicit consent under GDPR, typically existing customers in your CRM, marketing opt-ins, or leads who filled a form on your website. Pure cold lists are not supported by design, in line with European regulation.

I want to start with just a few leads, can I do that?

Yes. You can launch a small pilot, even 50–100 contacts in a single campaign, to validate the agent's tone, conversion rate and CRM recap quality before scaling. There is no minimum volume to start.

What is the reaction of people interacting on calls with the AI agent?

Most callers do not realise they are talking to an AI in the first 30–60 seconds. Spoki Voice uses natural fillers, silence detection and sub-700ms latency, so the conversation feels like a human operator. When asked directly, the agent is honest about being an AI and can transfer to a human if the caller prefers.

Is there a monthly subscription or a minimum usage period?

Spoki uses a flexible monthly subscription. Voice minutes are bundled per plan and you can top up on-demand. There is no annual lock-in by default, you can upgrade, downgrade or pause month-to-month from the dashboard.

Can I stop the plan whenever I want?

Yes. Plans are month-to-month. You can pause or cancel from the Spoki dashboard without contacting support; charges stop at the end of the current billing cycle, and your agents stay archived in case you want to resume later.

Can it also send emails, SMS, or WhatsApp messages in addition to dialoguing on the phone?

Yes, this is Spoki's signature differentiator. The same flow can call first, then automatically fall back to a WhatsApp message via the official Business API, an SMS reminder, or an end-of-call email recap. One conversation, every channel, one customer record.

What happens if the lead doesn't answer the call?

You define the retry policy: number of attempts, hours-of-day windows and cooling-off period between retries. Spoki Voice also detects answering machines automatically and can switch to a WhatsApp or SMS fallback the same moment, so the contact is never lost.

What happens if the lead asks to be contacted later?

The agent captures the requested callback date and time, syncs it as a CRM event, and the platform reschedules the call automatically inside the next campaign window. No manual follow-up, no missed appointments.

Do I necessarily need a cloud PBX to start?

No. Spoki Voice provides the phone numbers, the telephony stack and the call routing out of the box, no Twilio, no Aircall account to set up. If you already have a PBX (Asterisk, 3CX, Twilio, Aircall, etc.) we can integrate with it for warm-transfer to your agents, but it is not a prerequisite.

Yes. You can set smart handoff rules, by intent ("speak to a human"), by topic (e.g. complaints), by sentiment (frustrated caller) or by business hours, and the agent transfers warm to your existing PBX, a mobile phone or a specific sales rep, delivering a full context summary in real time so the human picks up exactly where the AI left off.
