Subtitles style

Subtitle typography rules to keep text legible on any background and device. Switch resolution to see the correct style for standard video and Reels.

Subtitle preview

Choose the resolution to preview the correct subtitle treatment. Standard video uses two-line captions; Reels use word-by-word social captions.

Color

  • Use white (#FFFFFF) as the primary subtitle color
  • Highlight only one key word in Spoki green (#16D46D)
  • Use Plus Jakarta Sans Bold
  • Add a strong but soft shadow for contrast

Dimension

  • Minimum 48px on 1080p video (1920 × 1080)
  • Scale proportionally for other resolutions
  • Maximum 32 characters per line
  • Maximum 2 lines on screen at once

Motion

For motion styling, use black or white Plus Jakarta Sans Bold according to the background. The standard Spoki green frame keeps the black logo centered.
