Conversations & Billing Rules

Conversations

  • Conversations are 24-hour sessions counted from the first business message.
  • You may exceed your plan's included conversations (up to 3×) with an additional surcharge.

Meta Billing

  • Pricing depends on the recipient's country and message category (Meta rules).
  • WhatsApp fees are always billed separately by Meta.

Billing of Excess Usage

  • Exceeding the plan limit triggers a 25% surcharge.
  • Excess usage is billed every 30 days, even on annual or quarterly plans.

Account Setup & Activation

  • Spoki requires an onboarding phase to activate the WhatsApp Cloud API.
  • Activation depends on Meta verification and may take several days.
  • You must follow the onboarding instructions provided by Spoki.

Plan Rules & Limits

  • Plans are recurring: monthly, quarterly, or annually.
  • Unlimited operators and unlimited contacts are allowed.
  • Usage beyond 3× the included conversations requires a plan upgrade.
  • Excess conversation costs are billed at the next monthly cycle.

Marketing plan of 2,400 conversations per month billed annually. Without changing plans you can take advantage of up to 7,200 conversations per month. At the end of the month every single conversation exceeding 2,400 will have the cost calculated as follows: 189.00€ / 2,400 conversations * 1.25 = 0.0984€.

Does Spoki charge per operator?
No. Spoki includes unlimited operators on every paid plan — you add agents, managers and supervisors without per-seat fees. This is a key difference from Intercom, Drift and most enterprise live-chat suites.
How is WhatsApp conversation billing structured?
Conversations are billed in line with Meta's Marketing, Utility, Authentication and Service categories and country rates. Spoki passes through the Meta rate plus a transparent margin disclosed on the pricing page, with monthly volume tiers that reduce per-conversation cost as you scale.
Can I pay annually for a discount?
